Mr. Jeremy Bell
Jeremy has been our Interim since March 2021. We are fortunate to have such a committed Brother in Christ to help our church through the process for finding the next pastor that the Lord is leading to us.
A little about Jeremy: I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Upon graduation, I commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. During my time in the military, God began to call me into ministry. This calling required my wife and I to completely surrender our hearts and lives to the Lord. I attended seminary at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where I have earned my Master of Divinity, my Master of Theology in Christian Ethics, and I am in the process of earning my Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Ethics under my mentor, Dr. David W. Jones.
Jeremy is married to his Aggie sweetheart, Katie Bell. They have five lovely children: Avery, Landon, Addilyn, Lincoln, and Levi. They live in Wake Forest, NC where he serves as the Director of Certificate Services at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Meg grew up in Nash County and attended Southern Nash Senior High School. She graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education and Music Therapy from East Carolina University. She holds a Master of Music Degree from ECU as well. While at ECU, Intervarsity Christian Fellowship greatly influenced Meg's strong interest in working with Internationals and serving in missions. After teaching music in NC, NY, and VA public schools for 12 years, Meg served overseas for five years. Since 1999, she has taught at Bailey Elementary School teaching English as a Second Language. Nine summers have been spent overseas helping internationals learn English. On weekends, she is a volunteer tutor at La Estrella Hispanic Outreach in Stanhope. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, and playing the hammered dulcimer.
